    Bought a Harley

As the title says. Bought myself my first Harley! Over the moon. It's a 2009 night train. Now the fun starts. Want to start modifying it. The question to all the harley guys out there. Where are some good sites to buy aftermarket parts from

Nice. Just hit up google or HD Forums for good feedback. There are a ton of suppliers out there. I'm on the east coast so I prefer Eastern Performance.

I don't want to buy any of the cheap chinese stuff either. It will look nothing like the way it is now when it's finished. Gonna go wild on it.

Oh I completely understand. I could drop 10K tomorrow on mine if I lost all common sense. One step at a time. My old Fat Boy is on the left and my current Glide on the right.

Start by chopping the ass end off. Weld a hard tail on then put your forward controls on lose the stock bars put a pair of night hawk bars on. Get yourself a set of pod filters and re jet your machine a medium sized peanut tank couldn't hurt

Funny is trying to get some 17 year old kid to trust me to come back with cash for a tank of gas while looking like a thug.
He was like " how do I know I can trust you " awe fuk all son I have nothing to leave for collateral . He let me fill up so all was cool.
When I went back he was like Whoa... Never thought I'd see you again.

Custom bars getting made to suit. Def not going hard tail. Want to ride in comfort. Will prob go screamin eagle filter getting pipes made. Losing the V & H pipes. Really like the PM range so looks like I'll be investing in a lot of that stuff

My dad picked up a new 2013 HD street glide last year, but pretty sure he gets most his parts at our local Harley shop. I know he just got some screamin eagle pipes for Christmas.

Think about it.... Do you really want to know what DSM considers a crotch rocket??? I doubt that motorcycle or CC comes into the equation.
