SO I am working on a project in the beverage industry and recently received artificial flavor samples. On the samples it reads the flavor then "usage .25%"
I assume this means to achieve the desired flavor amount the flavor syrup is to take up .25% of the total drink volume.
I've tried .25%, 2.5%, and even 25% and I cant taste anything. I can smell the flavor but there is no taste, other than a slight bitterness.
Any ideas on what usage means? The flavors were in very cold weather while on my porch, but I don't see that removing the taste from them. I can't see a company selling such a poor product and staying in business. So I am confused.
