Thread: Peptides to Compliment TRT

    Question Peptides to Compliment TRT

So I have been reading up a bit on the use of peptides to supplement AAS. I'm about 7 months into TRT and seeing good results -- but itching to take things to the next level. Ultimately, I would like to shed ~15lbs more visceral fat and replace it with lean muscle. I'm still waiting on recent lab results to see if I have any chance of pharma grade HGH. Baseline IGF-1 7 months ago was "low normal" but the anti-aging clinic doesn't work with GH (in any form) -- new doc will prescribe if needed. I'll wait for labs, but just thinking ahead and planning for the worst...

I am thinking about giving the following protocol a run (in addition to my TRT):
    • IGF-1LR3 (40mcg) 1 x day
    • CJC-1295 w/o DAC (100mcg) 3 x day
    • GHRP-2 (100mcg) 3 x day

Any thoughts or experience on peptide use alongside TRT? Any recommendations on changes I should consider? *Note: I will be following up with BW no matter what route I take.

Additional info for those who haven't seen my Intro post:
    5'10", 215lbs, 14%bf
    TRT: 90mg Test Cyp. E3.5D, 500IU hCG 2xWeek, .25mg Anastrozole EOD

    TIA for any advice!!!

I ran the same combo minus the igf and got noticeable results. Helped my sleep a lot too...which usually sucks really bad.

I ran a cjc1295/ghrp6 stack for a year. Along with my TRT. TBH, I wasn't really all that impressed. almost three years ago, this was running me something like $160/mo for the peps. So I'm sure it's more now.

^^^^ I did the exact same protocol on peps as times not impressed. If your goal is to get rid of fat you might want to add some T-3. Peps equal bloat and wasted money for me. My doc wants $1100 a month for HGH at 5 on 2 off at 2 iu's. The real deal is expensive but it works for sure!

Remember that GHRP 2 can increase cortisol/prolactin. I have heard of GHRP/GHRH combo being effective but never done it myself. I was planning on:
Ipamorelin 200mcg in the morning and before bed
GHRP-6 125mcg after workout to promote huge meal.
    Cjc1295 w/o dac at 100mcg 3xs daily.

This should give me around a 2-3 iu increase in Gh secretion per day at these doses without significant increase in cortisol prolactin. Just my speculation and experiement.

I was bouncing back & forth between GHRP-6 and GHRP-2 -- but was afraid the 6 would lead to more of a dirty bulk with the intense hunger. If I had to pick between cut & bulk, I would go for cut over the next 8-12 weeks... so long as I could hold onto the bulk I have put on in the past 6 months of TRT. I have gained some decent size, but hoping to get sub 10%bf to really see & appreciate it.

You do not want the rise in prolactin and cortisol. And it will substantially rise with ghrp 6

peptides can work, but it usually is short lived for me. Not to mention the subq water retention is a pain. I would use and stop and then use again for something specific. I would not use IGF!!!! Feel free to do some research on increasing systemic igf.

other than that, you could use them, they can be beneficial when properly used, pre cardio to help with fat loss, post training and pre meal to help build muscle.

I'm just recently off of them, not sure when I will be back on again.

For the price there is also other ways to aid fat loss or muscle gains. Have you done blood work to see if you could use an increase? I did blood work first, i guess to justify it, doctor was willing to prescribe hgh but I refused it. Looking back though I have had progress with it as well as without it.

    Id do sermorelin and ghrp2.
I ran cjc 1293 and ghrp6 for 6+ months and noticed some effects but sermorelin and ghrp2 is more potent. That wil be my next peptide run.. I do not have IGF epereince

I did BW this past Tuesday and am waiting on results from the doc. Unfortunately they are closed on Fridays so hoping to have results on Monday. When I started TRT, the clinic did baseline tests and my IGF-I was 132 (ref. 53-331 ng/mL). So it was "normal", but nowhere near the upper 3rd where I would like it to be.

To everyone... thanks for the feedback! I'm researching all of the suggestions while I wait on the BW results.

Ive been on Ipam and cjc 1295 no dac for 3 months each 3 times a day 100mg each injection. And it has already changed my body more than trt. Leaner, way more vascular. Im burning fat and keeping the same weight. Might have something to do with my t3 and t4 im taking too though

^^^^ t-3 is a very powerful weight loss product. 3 months of peptide use is like trying to explain a book when you've only read the first 3 chapters.

Can you share details on the T3/T4? I recently started reading up on that as well.

I'm starting with Austinite's Fat Loss Supplements while I research and make a decision on which path to take (T3/T4 or peps). I've had pretty good luck with Chromium, ALA, and Polycosanol, but that was coupled with a decent amount of cardio.
