    Getting bigger....all over. What gives?

    Seems like every time I get bigger my waist gets bigger too. Is just how it goes? I, of course, am putting on some fat, and am retaining some water, and getting significantly stronger. I want to keep my waist as small as possible. My diet is pretty good. Seems like I shouldn't be putting on much fat with what I am eating and the cardio I am doing. So is getting a thicker waist just part of getting bigger?

    There's your answers man.

    Males generally tend to store fat around midsection.

    You also don't need to be fat to increase strength or muscle mass. I have never believed in the whole bulk/cut strategy.

    If you want a smaller waist clean up your diet more so that you are not gaining any fat and instead are lowering your overall body fat percentages. It doesn't even take that much just 300-500 less calories per day will make a significant impact.
