Injection Muscle Sore and a little Swolen!!!

On Monday I had my 5th Deca 300 injection....today the deltoid where I injected it is sore and a little swolen. It is not red and I can move it. The soreness feels like a bruise and the swelling is small, but this is only 2 days later. Should I be worried????

No, this is the 4th but the kid who pushed the plunger for me did it hella fast. I usually have a different kid do it who does it real slow, I don't know if thats what may have done it!!!

Nothing to worry about at the moment. Give it a few more days, and the swelling should subside. Keep your eye out for signs of infection though (Red streaks, warm to touch, fever). If you experience anything such as this then I would go to the doctor.

Ok, I used a brand new pin, cleaned the spot with alcohol, cleaned the top of the bottle with alcohol. I took all the precautions!!!

i wouldn't worry about it, esp if he's not used to giving injections. if he plunged fast, or moved the needle around, that could be the cause...

like mammoth said, keep an eye out for the signs of infection, but i think you should be fine
