Try hydrogen peroxide on a small area. It will get blood up, but make sure it doesn't affect your carpet before you do a large area. Blot it with paper towels.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I was taking my mother home from dialysis one day and she needed a couple of things from the store. The clot in her access for dialysis let go while I was in the store and she bled out a good bit while I was in the store. After we got the bleeding controlled/ clotted and she was situated @ home I used peroxide to clean the carpet in my truck and it didn't affect it.

Dollar stores carry a product called L.A's totally awesome. its yellow in a clear spray bottle. It cleans EVERYTHING! But you're going to need some short of suction to lift it out of the threads.
Or boil some water and use gojo and a wet vac.
Peroxide helped. Turned it pink, lol. I think it's hopeless. I think the carpet is too light colored.

8 years ago before I stopped drinking, I was drunk in the keys and apparently tried to cut limes for corona, and I woke up with pools of blood in the sheets . Looked like I sacrificed a chicken.I gave the maid a twenty and apologized.
Rent a steam cleaner or just pay someone $50-$100 to come in and do it for you. You can also use a good shop vac and a lot of warm water. Pick up some Oxy clean spray to help lift it out.
COLD water and soap will effectively get it out of bed sheets at least.
Erm, does it look like a murder scene because it is one? It's a stripper related story right? I'm waiting for the thread you're gonna start 'Blood & Glitter'.

Just keep working at it and it should come out.
Oxy Clean, dish soap, peroxide/water mix. Blot affected areas. May take a couple days and a few attempts.
My dog cut himself on some glass once and I've never seen so much blood.. Had to work hard to get it out but after a few days if work there was no trace.
Go to a floor restoration supply store, they make a product that gets it out that professionals use (I was one) I feel like it has ammonia, but maybe I'm mixed up because I know ammonia kills blood (destroys blood evidence) and we DID use it, but they'll get you the right stuff...
Also, never use dish soap, oxy clean, etc...especially on light carpet, unless (and it's still tricky) you can neutralize it to stop it from foaming and then extract it with a hot water rinse, those things leave residues which attract dirt over time and weaken carpet backing
Wait until she's off the rag next time.
Next time use rubber sheeting for the floor and walls then you can just steam wash it away

For smaller amounts - your own saliva works. It's something to do with ur own DNA/enzymes that can break the blood down. I had a pair of white shorts that I got blood on. I spit on it - let it sit for 5 minutes and then it rubbed out with a paper towel. Three em in the wash machine after for good measure :-)
I hate that one if fifty times when blood goes running down my leg before I can even grab a towel or something to stop it. Im sure though, if I were standing on light carpet, it would freaking happen every time.

peroxide works good but it may discolor your carpet and I am a bit sketchy about this post. I would just like it to be known I was in no way an accomplice to this ordeal lol
Switch over to hardwood floors. Not worth the risk of leaving any evidence behind.
If the cops ask why you tore up the carpet, simply tell them you wanted to recreate the scene from Risky Business and the carpet was preventing that.
next time use someone elses house..
Your best bet would be to call 'The Wolf'.
Hold up, he lives in Texas. No one asks questions there.

5 Ways to Remove Blood Stains from Carpet - wikiHow
Problem is that blood will seep through into the backing of the carpet as well as the pad. If there is enough blood it will seep through the pad into the floor below.
When the guy died in my living room, the clean up crew had to pull the carpet, pad and then replace 2 sheets of backer board.
Depends on how big the "spill" is and how long it has sat there.
I am loling at this thread and also creeped out at how many people know how to remove large blood stains from carpet haha
If it was my "neighbors" house and "he" had a certain series of unfortunate events that allegedly happened in "his" home where there may or may not be a rather large blood stain on "his" carpet, perhaps "he" would simply uproot the carpet and roll it around the body to dump in a lake.
AAA OOO, now I know what your thinking but perhaps a 2 ton moose walked all the way down from Maine to Texas and collapse in "his" living room in which "he" may have cut that moose open for meat to eat. That explains the blood stains, the rolled up body, and the screaming. capisce.
Carpet is going out. No luck. A single pint of blood can cover so much area.

Sorry Mate,
Remember a few months ago you gave me advice on performing Phlebotomy! My blood spots are still on the bed head. Still looking on the bright side I am prepared to bet you have not got over 10 puncture marks and huge bruises!
Next time its the bathroom! Stay well.
Kindest Regards,
John
Easy with the ban hammer bud!!
Lmfao I can picture it now.....
You drew your own blood and dropped the bag and the blood went everywhere. In which case you don't have enough saliva to get the blood out.
That OR...... The stripper you were bangin had one helluva menstrual cycle this month
Take your pad off only in the bathroom.
