Every one says that you have a 20min window or whatever after you train to get protein and carb into you system, I used to do that by having a protein shake with crushed oatmeal in it. I recently went and got my diet done up by the go to guy in my city and he reckons no go on any protein shakes so now I get all my protein from proper food and am not have a post workout shake. What's every ones thoughts on this? Post work out shakes important or just bro science?
