Can you list your favorite website to shop online for electronics? I'm just curious to see what you think is a user-friendly website that you would return to.

I fall prey to Amazon a lot. Their prices seem fair and the ease of use of their mobile site/app is a plus. Also, it has everything you'd need in one place.

I also order a lot from Micro Center. They have a website, but I don't think they offer shipping. I have one close enough to me. Several locations, mostly by major cities. Always seem to have good prices.

Regardless of price, I refuse to use wal-mart or best buy.

I'm not a newest, latest, greatest type of electronic gadget type of guy; but when I do buy random stuff....subwoofer, computer odd /ends, ear buds, etc. I might hit newegg and then do a drive-by on Amazon, Ebay, etc. to compare prices and selection.
I'm usually more influenced by price and selection than I am the layout/visual appeal of the website because I'm old and boring. Sorry???

Amazon I think I'm addicted to it. stupid simple to find what I want and place an order. I've never had to do a return with them but I hear its easy and painless.

I usually just type in what I need to google shopping and see where it takes me. I've found a lot of good places doing that, but I'm not specific to one store. Whichever has the best overall deal I buy from.

if you want a possible discount on what you buy... fill out the cart and before you submit it.. close out the webpage.
If they have your email address, they may contact you in a couple of days and offer you a discount to come back and purchase your items...

The cheapest. I don't worry too much about customer service/ support. If I want that I'll go to the store. If anything goes wrong online I just called credit card company and dispute the charge

First I check costco/bj's. Then I google what I want and then click shopping and see what comes up the cheapest. Then I try and take that price to one of the major retailers for price match.

I've had to call the credit card more than once, a few times because the item never came and also once when an item came damaged. Its really simple, you tell them exactly what happened and they send you paper work pretty much saying that you swear to not have gotten the item. Send it back and they usually credit your account as soon as you call with a pending credit until they get the paper work back. I should add I don't do any ordering from over seas.

I play fair. Seems if you got something damaged, you would contact the company to see if they can make it right. Otherwise it's deceptive and I couldn't do that. But this is not why I'm interested in my original question. I just want to know what website people consider user-friendly.

Of course not. But just because it isn't walmart, Costco, or best buy doesn't mean I won't buy from it. If it seems professional and I like what I see, I buy from it. I was looking for a particular POV camera here a while back and I found this site B&H Photo Video Digital Cameras, Photography, Camcorders. By far the best deal on that particular camera. I had never heard of them before but the price was right and they seemed legit so that's who I went with. I've seen some and the best/worse customer service come from "mom and pop" stores, but I've seen and experienced the same from Big box stores as well, so in the end it all comes down to best value. I'm big on reading reviews though and if it doesn't have good reviews that "real" people have written (I find it easy to tell if an actual consumer or marketing manager wrote the review), I won't buy from there. As a former retail business owner I appreciate handling things correctly with disputes, but as somebody else said if I can't get anywhere with the company it's pretty easy to call American express and dispute it.

Amazon and Newegg. I like newegg's sort feature and the website is overall nice looking and easy to navigate. Some web sites, even if the product is cheapest, I will pass up due to a poor web site or lack of navigation ease.

I have shoped most every place listed.

I use to use Newegg a lot and still go to the site to check prices and compare parts. B&H has some good stuff but again most everything I typically price shop compare and most of the time anymore I get it from Amazon due to price out the door shipped works out to be less.

I have bought from B&H but not often. Newegg I use to get a lot from when I was building PCs but that was before Amazon was around or was still small.
