    advice on blood work.

Woke up this morning with some sort of massive throat infection. Can hardly even swallow water. Am never sick, but am going to doctors later to get it checked out and to kill 2 birds so to speak was going to ask him to get some blood's work done for me.
I'm 44, 230lbs, bf 16%, have cycled on and off for 20 years with long breaks in between. Am 4.weeks into a test e 400mg weekly, tren 500mg weekly, and just started to throw in 1anadrol daily since last Wednesday.
Any advice on what I should either tell him or ask him would be greatly appreciated. He's my doc since my early 20s and was aware before that I ran cycles.
    Thanks in advance.

blood work when you are sick is never accurate though. sure you want that done? it will however show you have high white cell count, raised CRP or ESR....suggesting infection

Was thinking that would be the case alright. Although it was the tiles of liver function tests and test levels I was also thinking about. Maybe I should just wait till I see what he says about my throat and leave the blood's till it clears. As I said, I don't go to the doc often, probably 8years since I've been so was trying to squeeze everything in in one visit,

you can always ask for 2 blood forms, one to do 4 weeks later...is that an option in the states?

thought you are from the states...in UK, you can ask for delayed blood form from your GP, no problem

Just back from doc's. Bad throat infection, given course of antibiotics to take. Decided not to mention anything about my cycle but did get my BP taken and was perfect. Will leave blood's till end of cycle I think.

a clue to know if your doctor is good.

    sorethroat:
if you are given amoxicillin - never to go back again. You should have been given Penicillin V (aka phenoxymethylpenicillin) for 10 days. This is to cover strep.
if amoxicillin is given when you are in fact having glandular fever (very difficult to differentiate clinically), you will have a rash because of the interaction between the viral toxin and amoxicillin. therefore, should never be given in the first place.
Co-amoxiclav (aka augmentin) has amoxicilin within it, so cannot be prescribed too.
if you are penicillin allergy, your doctor may prescribe clarithromycin, but should be for 10 days too.
if your doctor does not do the above. choose someone else next time

btw, good idea to leave blood work till next time

Diagnosis was strep, then given a penicillin based week long course of tablets. In and out in 10 minutes and €70 lighter, plus another 10 for the tablets in the pharmacy.
