my work is getting ready to stock the new gym space, which is awesome, but they asked for help from a few of us to stock it, so any ideas on how to get that done on the cheap??

Craigslist. Lots of gym equipment for cheap or free. Nice stuff too.
I'll start there. ^ thanks LB
Any ideas on cutting corners? I was gonna try to find dumbbells in ten pound increments not the normal five, maybe there's a way to add a few pounds "externally" to lessen the jump? That type of thing...just curious who's done what to save cash!
Hmmm, I wonder if it'll be cheaper to get a few sets of plate loaded dumbbells instead of the pre set weight ones, obv for heavy db's they need to probably be set can't do functional stuff with 45's on a dumbbell bar lol
Sears has cheap equipment.
All you need is a squat rack... And weights...
Adjustable dumbells are great I have the power block ones, squat rack, bench, cables are good too.
Ok, so I can find a squat rack get a bench to put in it and boom two in one?
First, you need a rough idea of your company's budget and then make a list of the "must have" items. As mentioned above, CL is a good place.to look. Also, if you have a local second hand sports store, try them. I have picked up used Olympic plates for as little as .15/lb.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

The Good Will or Salvation army is another good place to find dumbbells and such sometimes.
I've been looking at the same, and have settled on a squat rack, adjustable bench (decline & incline - not sure they exist, though), bar and weights.
The adjustable dumbbells too, probably.
Call chuck Norris sure he got stuff in his closet
