    First cycle

Looking to start a cycle. Not just a cycle, but the first cycle.

OK so here is the deal, I am 235 with 20% body fat. I would like to just drop body fat, to get in between 13-16% body fat.

So I want to do this fat, my friend is a trainer and has done stuff himself, he suggests that a 5 week cycle which would consist of Tren A and Anavar. A post cycle which includes hCG or w/e

So, to someone like me who is dead set on losing that with help, how does this sound? I asked him about running some test with it and he says If i run that Ill blow up, and i should run that after I lean out.

I can check my own labs throughout the whole process as well since I work in a lab, but feedback? negative and positive are both appreciated

Your friend is your enemy. He has scant regard for your health and well-being.

Your answers are in your diet and cardio. You don't need steroids for your goals.

Hit up our nutrition forum and read the cutting 101 sticky and post your plan for critique.

    Good luck.

I will tell you exactly how you will be affected. First of all, AAS are not miracle drugs. Most people who take them put in twice the effort than most gym goers. If you think you cannot, or do not have the patience or discipline, to cut down from 20% BF to 15 then you do not need to be doing anything but hardening your mind and finding some motivation from somewhere.

Your goal is not only attainable, but very easy to do, much easier than most of the goals of the serious guys on here. It is within reach with changes to your diet and possibly your workout routine. All this without the health risks. The people who are looking for shortcuts are the ones who make life altering mistakes.

Your health will be affected by taking a 19nor, Tren, that is five times stronger than testosterone. In doing so you will be completely suppressing your natural test production. Your body is adaptable, if synthetic test is present in your body it will stop making it naturally, sometimes permanently if you do not do the cycle right, which is exactly what your buddy is suggesting. In addition, you will experience things, not maybe, not might, Tren with no test means you WILL experience things like loss of libido and emotional changes. Those could be permanent since your buddy isn't suggesting a correct proper AI on cycle or PCT. And let us not talk about gyno, you would need to buy some training bras.

Even if we were to suggest a cycle to you, Tren, one of the strongest AAS out there, would not be in the first couple. Look at the articles these knowledgeable men are showing you and they will tell you why cycling with a high BF% is bad.

It is a good thing you came here though, your friend is not very knowledgeable.

Sounds like bad advice from someone with limited knowledge. No disrespect to your friend, but credentialing to become a trainer doesn't require a lot of knowledge and certainly does not make him an expert like many advanced members here.

Risks to your health are much greater at 20% and above. Have you considered the risks of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia and more at that body fat? You're also likely circulating higher serum estrogen levels elevating immune system risks and prostate diseases if you cycle.

Better safe and healthy than impetuous and injured. Have your "trainer" instruct you on a nutrition and training plan to drop your body fat to 12-15%. If he can't do that, question his integrity as a trainer.

You are right about that. To get NASM certified I literally did not learn a single thing.

Correct. The trainers that concern me the most though are the ones that look like the only sets they do are "donuts to mouth".

Pretty pathetic when you're trying to help someone with their fitness goals and you are overweight or have man boobs (like several trainers I have seen). Lol
