    Pressure Cooker & Food Prep

Brainwashed by the new pressure cooker infomercial, It's got me really thinking about getting one for food prep.

    What are your thoughts?

Anyone like to use the pressure cooker to prep meals?

    Whats your favorite recipes?

My mom purchased for me. I really only use to make frozen chicken in 10 minutes. Use when I forget to thaw on food prep day. Can't be anymore help

I don't prep meals but do have a pressure cooker that I use somewhat frequently.

I have one but rarely if ever use it.

I prefer to make and eat on the spot.

The times when I used the pressure cooker had too much and was stuck eating that for the whole week.

But if you find a good recipe that you enjoy, they are great to make bulk quantity.

I'm the opposite, I almost never make anything in quantity in a pressure cooker. Just enough for dinner that day and maybe some leftovers for the next. Except when I make stuffed grape leaves, squash, and cabbage and then I'll make enough to feed a small city lol

    Speaking of psychology......

As I think back to my college freudian psychology lectures. I conclude that this roles over to your sexual lives. While doc is a "just the tip" kinda guy; you hellomycognomen are a "balls deep" kind of guy. In other words doc is all about romance prefers to finesse a lady and you HMC are a sexual deviant.

Oh......and BOTH of you with your MOTHERS!!!!! You sick bastards!!!!

My psychology typically extends to my plate not always the preparation of the food. My plate probably looks as fukk as your pressure cooker hahaha

Pressure cookers are awesome. They're really good for cooking dry beans really fast. Also great for stews, try this one Pressure Cooker Beef Stew Recipe - Allrecipes.com

Thanks for all the replies, I'm getting one.

This should cut down on food prep time drastically.

I dont like pressure cookers. I like slow cookers better. You cant tell what is going on inside a pressure cooker and if you do you mess up the food. I have one and only use it for crappy meats or canning stuff.
