Technique:
Grayscale and color Doppler images of the scrotum were obtained.
No comparisons.

Clinical History:
Right testicular pain

Findings:
Both testes are normal in size. The right testis measures 3.9 x
1.8 x 3.1 cm. The left testis measures 4.0 x 1.6 x 2.8 cm. No
evidence of torsion or a focal abnormal mass within either
testis.

A 5.4 x 2.9 x 5.0 mm cyst is noted in the right epididymal head.
Bilateral varicoceles are present. No evidence of a hydrocele.

Impression:
No evidence of testicular torsion. Mild sized bilateral
varicoceles

Hi,
Here is my radiologist's report from an ultrasound that was done a few days ago. The doc has been trying to find the causes of my low t and he thinks this is it (the varicoceles). He wants to do surgery and I'm not crazy about it. He's saying that varicoceles can cause blood flow and heat problems for your testicles and that can cause sperm, fertility and testosterone problem. He said that a simple procedule in the office can fix that and my testosterone production should be restored.

I'm just scared of going under the knife. What do you guys think? Go for the surgery or just get on TRT?

It's surprising how many things can affect test levels. Head injury and severe illness has been linked to low T also.
