    push ups every day

    Hi guys,

What do u think about doing about 100 push ups or a little more every day either morning on wake up time or before bed time ?

Second question for those who are pro this "technik", what would be the muscle achievement ? Would it be hitting more define ? Mass ?

It wouldn't hurt, but if you are already following a workout routine, I don't see the point, unless you just want to do them for fun.

Push ups are an outstanding exercise, works basically your entire body, stabilizers, core, chest, arms, shoulders, etc.

If you like push ups in particular just incorporate them into your chest day. And you can always up the intensity with weighted vest or more challenging variations (dive bombers, clap, diamond, etc)

As far as the above, "define" IMO has more to do with body fat %.

"Mass" yes possibly if done with intensity, but "mass" is not a simple question.

Can you get a swole/ripped/strong/powerful/etc upper body off of pushups - IMO hell yea you can. Add in pull ups and your set. Throw in plyometrics for your legs, and you will be one very effective individual.

100 push ups isn't enough to over train your chest but will increase your metabolism to burn fat for a while. It also helped me to get in a frame of mind the "wake up" before work. I'd day go for it.

I do pushups every morning about 10-15 minutes after waking up. You wont get a huge benefit from it if you already workout regularly but it will certainly get your psyche right for the day

Always a good idea to catch a pump in the mornings even if you are busy and cant workout that day it will go a long way getting blood into the muscle and proper stimulation so it atleast thinks its being worked so it will stay in a stimulated state ready for new growth, I often use dumbells when just around the house to keep a pump and work on form even more so if im on a heavy cycle and want as much blood flow as possible always staying active with the body
