Looking for some input to figure out if I am in to much of a deficit or if I am on track.
Background: Have been on TRT(150 mgs a week) since last August and just completed my first blast 7 weeks ago. I blasted at 500 mgs a week/2x weekly. I started my blast at 183 and ended just a little over 213. I know A LOT of water weight. I was calipher'd at 13%, so I am guessing I was around 21% BF or so(I dont have trust in my gym guy and did post pics.) I could see trace outlines of my abs still, but I definitely had back fat.
I continued my bulk at around 4500 calories a day up until 2 weeks ago. Once I stopped blasting, I dropped down to about 4k calories and from 213 to around 208.5'ish, and held there for 2 weeks eating that much. I gained nothing, lost nothing. If it was anything it was .x of a pound for those 2 weeks. No idea how thats possible.
I started my cut 2 weeks ago now and I am down to 200.x lbs. I thought I would of dropped a chunk of water weight back when I stopped my blast, and then maybe a 5 lbs of water with maybe a pound of fat possibly? Not 8 pounds of water? I have noticed a bit of strength lost compared to cycle, but nothing really since. When the guy at the gym did my calipers this time I am still at 13% from his reading, so I am actually thinking more like 20% now cause I can tell I have more vascularity.
My cutting macros are 2300 calories - 25f/35c/40p. I am also 5'11 if that helps. With my cut, I do 5(chest/back/arms/shoulders/legs) days of weights from 4-5 exercises per day, about 4 sets per exercise. Abs 3 x weekly, calves 2x with HIIT(20 minutes) 2x - 3x weekly(300 calorie'ish) and then LISS cardio 2x week(about 150-200 calories.)
Should I up the cardio/lessen the cardio, lower the calories or higher them?
