    Is my cut to much?

Looking for some input to figure out if I am in to much of a deficit or if I am on track.

Background: Have been on TRT(150 mgs a week) since last August and just completed my first blast 7 weeks ago. I blasted at 500 mgs a week/2x weekly. I started my blast at 183 and ended just a little over 213. I know A LOT of water weight. I was calipher'd at 13%, so I am guessing I was around 21% BF or so(I dont have trust in my gym guy and did post pics.) I could see trace outlines of my abs still, but I definitely had back fat.

I continued my bulk at around 4500 calories a day up until 2 weeks ago. Once I stopped blasting, I dropped down to about 4k calories and from 213 to around 208.5'ish, and held there for 2 weeks eating that much. I gained nothing, lost nothing. If it was anything it was .x of a pound for those 2 weeks. No idea how thats possible.

I started my cut 2 weeks ago now and I am down to 200.x lbs. I thought I would of dropped a chunk of water weight back when I stopped my blast, and then maybe a 5 lbs of water with maybe a pound of fat possibly? Not 8 pounds of water? I have noticed a bit of strength lost compared to cycle, but nothing really since. When the guy at the gym did my calipers this time I am still at 13% from his reading, so I am actually thinking more like 20% now cause I can tell I have more vascularity.

My cutting macros are 2300 calories - 25f/35c/40p. I am also 5'11 if that helps. With my cut, I do 5(chest/back/arms/shoulders/legs) days of weights from 4-5 exercises per day, about 4 sets per exercise. Abs 3 x weekly, calves 2x with HIIT(20 minutes) 2x - 3x weekly(300 calorie'ish) and then LISS cardio 2x week(about 150-200 calories.)

Should I up the cardio/lessen the cardio, lower the calories or higher them?

Are you cutting directly after a bulk?

Well dropped from 5k on blast, to 4k to see if I could maintain, then I went about a 5 days on what I figured was maintenance @ 3k(ish) eating when I was hungry but making sure I hit protein macros.

7 weeks since blast ended, dropped from 5k(week 1 off) to 4500(week2-3) to 400k(week3-4) - 3k(week 5) then started my cut 2300 for week 6 and 7(Just finished, week 7.) Did I need to maintain a bit longer @ 3k?

Its always been really hard to put on solid weight for me, while I love getting leaner, if I am killing the muscle I ate so damn much for I'd rather be fluffy.

Figures don't add up. If you are dieting on 2300 cals, i am going to assume your maintanance is 2800, seing that you haven't told us what it is. If so, you should need around 3500 for clean bulk on cycle. 4000 is really pushing the cals

Really need your stats - weight, bf and height etc, to make a proper call on this.

Btw, diet after cycle is usually a waste of a cycle.

I think your deficit is too big. I'm 5'11'', 214 lbs, no aas, above 25% bf and I'm cutting at 2000 without cardio and a sedentary lifestyle.
You have much more muscles and cutting on 2300, plus you do cardio.

Mr Small, I posted my height/weight/bf by caliphers in my original post.... Only thing I left out is that I am 29 years old...... I know cutting after a cycle is a waste, thats why I waited 5 weeks after to cut. How long do you normally wait? Keep in mind I am on TRT so I am still doing weekly injections. Based on the BMR I found online, it is 2800, but I am assuming more like 3k'ish, as I said its always been hard to put on weight/mass for me in the past.
http://forums.steroid.com/members-pi...questions.html - This was me 3 weeks prior to the end of my cycle, before I ended just a bit over 213.

Angry, How much are you losing on that? I work in IT, so my daily life is pretty sedentary minus walks around the office I usually try to do once an hour and then the time I spend playing with my daughter after working out is about it. Maybe

Cutting after a. Cycle isn't necessarily a waste especially if you're going back to TRT. Good luck

Tbh, I don't know, I just started cutting 8 days ago, I'm sure I'm losing weight though. I would lose slowly on 2100 or 2200.
I checked a few months back, when I was 7 pounds lighter. I ate 2300 with two cheat days (2500-3000) for 2-3 weeks, scale almost didn't move.
So 2000 is good for me, maybe I'll go to 2100 or 2200. I'll see in the following weeks.

If you don't have any deadlines, you can find your real maintenance, and then lower cals.
If it's 3k'ish, you still have more than 10% deficit eating at 2700 kcal.
