Thread: Should I use steroids?

    Should I use steroids?

My main concern is my liver. I have an alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency. From what I remember of my trips to see specialists over the years, I don't have a very severe case.

I've never suffered any of the common symptoms.

The worst thing that happened was the fact that my liver wasn't capable of breaking down fats (according to my physician). It stores it. So basically, if I don't work out... The fat piles up, and eventually I'll need a liver transplant.

The doctors didn't think I'd live past my 20th birthday.

I'd like to say they were wrong, but I haven't gotten there yet. I won't be 20 until December.

My question is, should I use steroids? I know they're toxic to the liver, but here's the thing... I'll need a new one regardless.

Even eating right and exercising can't reverse the damage that's already been done. I have a fatty liver. It's not gonna go away.

Steroids might speed up the process of killing my liver. That's the only thing I'm worried about.

Other than having a fatty liver, I'm completely healthy. Well, almost. I'm a healthy fat guy lol. I weigh 255 lbs and I'm about 30% body fat.

My goal is to lose weight, not turn into the hulk. But I'd also like an athletic advantage.

Good to meet you. It sounds severe that your docs say you won't live to see 20. I hope you take the advice of the guys here before you do anything rash. Takes a while to find a new liver.

The irony in you calling me a troll...

This thread was posted BEFORE the other thread. The other section just has a lot more people looking at it, so it got answered there first.

Before ****ing around with gear, lose some fat. I recommend Albuterol. Also do some bloodwork to check your estradiol, if it`s high taking an aromatase inhibitor will help with the fat burning. Fat loss may help your liver, which will make future AAS use safer, is my take.

You do realize you are recommending advanced AAS to someone who has no business using them? He should not touch them due to his FLD. Even if his liver was healthy he still should not touch them since his endocrine system is still growing. Even if he was going to cycle, Tren/Test is not even close to what he should be using. Terrible advice all around.

And OP, I do not know what your stats are but since you seem to want to lose fat, that must mean you have a decent amount of fat to lose. In order to gain fat you must have a poor diet. Having said that, a poor diet and high BF% exacerbates your liver problem. I would suggest getting that in order through diet and exercise and get the most out of the liver that you can. Yes you may need a new liver, but the deficiency will still be there after the new liver. You can't just swap livers out every 3,000 miles. Take care of what you got.

He isn't about to die, he will require a liver transplant and as long as he isn't stuck on a desert island when the current one fails him then he has no reason to assume he is a dead man walking. Tren is a great fat burner, muscle builder, good all-around actually. But with Tren's power to do good comes the power to do bad. The side effects are harsh compared to a typical beginners cycle of test. This guy does not have the knowledge or experience to prepare himself for what may come with a tren cycle. Not to mention the risk of cycling with high body fat, you should research that one.
