    Dairy during cutting

    I have read some articles in the past about cutting where the author cuts all dairy such as cottage cheese, yogurt, and milk. I've cleaned up my diet as I'm cutting but this time I'm just eating cleaner. But quite a bit of my protein from cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, cheese, eggs as well as lean beef, chicken breast and tilapia.

    Dairy during cutting is fine. Some ppl tend to bloat from dairy so that could be one reason to cut it out. Also if you're stepping on stage your calories would be severely restricted which could be another reason to cut or minimize dairy.

    Thanks for your input docd, eventually I'll have to cut it out down the road but the versatility of it and whey protein make eating clean very tolerable for me. I would like to try and step on stage next year. It's something I've wanted to do for a very long time.

    Not all dairy are equal......

    I would ONLY eat dairy from grass fed cows...

    Strauss Family Creamery makes excellent Milk, Butter and Yogurt.

    If you want to take it to the level of competing, you will have to cut it out completely, just my .02c bro..
