Have you heard about kids in grade school smashing up smarties and snorting them? WTF??? I'm sure it started with some kid either watching their parents or maybe from tv and thinking it looks cool. No it does nothing for them except get them use to putting a straw up their nose.

Unfortunately, yes. However, sublingual administration would actually be the most effective. This stuff is alcohol bound to a cyclodextrin (so it is not dehydrated alcohol, but alcohol absorbed into a sugar powder), the perfect carrier for sublingual absorption.

To be fair, it was a really big cheque.

But I'm betting these powdered boozes probably taste like shit. So aside from underage teens and prisoners, I doubt anyone is going to drink this stuff.

a big concern is snorting it. they say you can get drunk instantly

if you read the articles, you will see some commentary that an even bigger concern is (I can't believe I'm saying this), is anal administration. "Butt chugging".

I'm sure that this company was trying to attract investors for their start up. And with the first FDA announcement, I imagine there was a huge cash infusion. But now the FDA reneged. So what do these investors do now that the FDA says "not approved"?
