    Hi I'm Mike

    Well new to here...

Simply put 18 months ago i was 420 pounds lots of health issues.. Hooked up with my local bike shop owner who put me into a nice Mountian Bike, Stuck me under his wing and got me out riding.. With his advice we got into my Docs and started sorting out a bunch of medical issues. One of which is TRT levels of Testosterone at my first blood test of around just over 200.. 18 months later and after an assortment of different types of applications i am on a prescribed dose of 200mg/ml per week, still shy of 300 on the blood work but doctor says a mixture of my weight, diabetes and other medications is hindering the absorption.

So jump 18 months later I am at the gym 3-4 times a week, I get out and ride the trails 2-3 times a week and am down to 290 pounds, over the last month with the advice and assistance of body building friends we have upped my doses to 200mg/ml twice a week, we are doing a little more weight training at the gym all in hopes that it will help me one get that little more test in my system to help me get through the slump i am in Emotionally and physically.. Thoughts are lets work on building some muscle gives me something different to work towards and the side effect of it would be shedding calories and fat from my body.

My end goal is just healthy, if that means i me being 5'10 and 180 pounds or 250 pounds.. i don't have a end goal for weight just want to reduce the medications i am on, reduce my insulin needs (Type 2 ) and be able to play soccer with my kids!

Hope you all don't mind my questions and can help at least point me in the right directions and i don't become too annoying to most.

Just hope to one day have a body that can match my legs.. lol

Thanks guys, I don't see my specialist again for 5 months and being still low but not as low he seemed happy leaving me on 200mg/ml weekly and encouraging more weight loss saying as i lose my weight the T will raise.. not sure how true that is but with the advice of friends we are working on a increased weekly dose and more weights at the gym.. Going to take advantage of extra test i have on hand from a years worth of dose changes and see if we can't maximize my summer.. being in canada our 3 month summers are rough.. lol so we want to maximize what i can lose the most i can.. seeing as i love to Mountain Bike and work it at the gym.,

Being married to a large Portuguese family and today was a all day eat fest it was not easy to skip the carbs.. and leave during the dessert spread to go abuse myself at the gym!!

    Thanks guys,

2 years ago i hit a all time low.. weighed in just over 420 pounds and pretty much could not do much of anything but lay on the couch and watch tv.. now two year later.. i still struggle every day to get out of bed but i do, find every excuse not to go to the gym today.. but go.. and on a regularly basis give into my brain and order the Bigmac and fries only to get home and toss it into the garbage and eat a salad!!

2 years later, i am down 140 pounds.. done from a 67 inch waist to 52.. here is a head shot left 420ish pounds.. today 280.. its even the same shirt.. seems i have lost some neck
