Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

    serious.

there's wine all over my laptop.

when cable/hbo first came out, I watched this show 17 times. and probably a half dozen times since then.

my family paid real good money for a gift pack for one frame from the original master tape of the original movie. all framed up and almost on the wall.

thanks for the laugh SM, but now I need a towel to wipe my laptop off.

(you think I'm shitting you, don't you?)

If I went around saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

    Oh so you LOL'd????

I believe you. It's a very underrated scene but I think the dialog is some of the most clever in the entire movie (which is a bold statement).
