Can you get withdrawal symptoms from stopping trt cold-turkey?

I self-administered testosterone for about 8 months straight. Typical dosages around 300mg/wk. I tried tapering off a bit towards the end, but last inject was like 175mg or so.

After going off a month ago, my blood pressure has gone up and my pulse is beating really fast. Restless legs etc. I have also had other typical withdrawal symptoms of a wider range. My doctor now aware of my use, said "sounds like withdrawal symptoms to me, wait it out".

I've searched around a lot, and I have NOT come across anyone ever posting about this. Is it possible to get physical withdrawal symptoms from testosterone use?

I feel fine mentally. My balls bounced back fine with clomid it seems. It's just scary to feel your heart racing for no apparent reason these days.

    you mean like a junkie?

    the short answer is no.

no withdrawals. you may get moody due to a lack of test. maybe depressed. maybe a drop in libido.

if it were me, I'd reduce the dosage. I only take 80mg/week for my trt, and I'm fine. RBC is a little high, but I'm working on it...............

I am thinking it could be the RBC-count as well. However my doctor said it was in the "upper" normal range when I was tested about 3 months ago. I'm donating blood tomorrow, see if that helps.

Also have an appt. with another doctor on Wednesday, maybe he's more educated on the subject.

300mg/week is a really high TRT dose. And you said you were in the high normal range on that dose?

At 200mg/week I'm off the scale.

No no... My hemoglobin was in the upper normal range Never had my test levels checked.. I am looking to get my natty levels checked a couple of months down the road when my body is totally back to normal. Unless I die from these heart rate/blood pressure issues before that.

Ok. That makes sense. Yeah the donation will probably help. However my heart rate goes up if my test levels are high with RBC and hemoglobin being normal.
