    1st cycle advise

It's been along time since my last cycles. About 8 years ago. I was in the hospital for a few months and went from 180lbs to 135lbs. I lost ALL my gains and work. Muscle just deteriorated. I have the ok to work out again with NO restrictions. My 1st goal is to pack on some weight and add muscle. I don't want to get too insane since I'm basically re-starting. I was thinking of the following cycle?

    Test- E 250 mg 2x week 10 weeks
    Anadrol 50 1st 4 weeks once daily
    Decatrex 350mg 2x week. 10 weeks

PCT nolva and A-dex or clomid.

I could substitute Anadrol for D-bol. Was thinking of adding Winny for weeks 6-10?

Is this too aggressive or not aggressive enough. Any thoughts are appreciated. My goal is to gain as much weight as possible. I will be working out 7 days a week. I will be consuming calories and protein to assist with muscle growth and development.

I would go natural until you're at a much higher weight. Gaining too much too fast is just asking for troubles like injury without that good base of strong muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

I don't think no restrictions covers aas. You need to train natty for a good while and strengthen yourself. Otherwise you will hurt yourself.

I would try to see how far you can get on your own once again until you reach a plateau that you just can't break. Try to take that path and I guarantee your results are going to be better. When you do cycle I would go 12 weeks minimum.

    Mate,
Hate to break it to you, but you are not a kid no more. This means the strength of your connective tissue is probably weak. And this means you will be at risk of injury if you go AAS now. Most of us try to avoid injury, as rehab can be six months or longer. if you feel like tossing the dice, then why not?

But if you value your health and being injury free, it would probably be prudent to focus on your time in the gym, and your diet. Give it two good years to toughen up your body.

One analogy I frequently use would be to compare you to a car. Suppose you had a stock 67 T-Bird. Sure, you can put a blower on there, but once that light turns green and you are petal to the metal, there is a very real chance you will leave a trail of tranny parts all over the asphalt in your wake. In this case, most mechanics would advise beefing up your drive train before throwing that blower on. Your body is the same way. toughen it up first before adding all that horsepower.

And of course, you'll take my advice, right? =)

During this time while you are waiting, it might be a good idea to have your testosterone levels checked. At 40, there's a pretty good chance your T levels have declined, making you a good candidate for testosterone replacement therapy. If you have any doubts, go have yourself checked and see where your testosterone levels are. Optimizing them could have a significant impact on your life.

    Just some thoughts...

I'll be getting my T-level results this next week. My nutritionist implemented a "new" diet to assist with weight gain. I still go to the gym everyday for cardio then weights. So far I keep the weight "lighter" and increase the reps. As you mentioned, I don't want to "over do" things and injure myself. I guess Im at the point where my gains are "slow" and its starting to piss me off. I look like a sick old man. I would have never believed a person could lose that much muscle and weight in a short time but believe me.... you can.. I guess I was hoping to gain 10lbs to feel better about myself and appear healthy. I was still planning on lifting about 50% of my normal weight limits to avoid injury. Perhaps it's best to work with my diet for another 6 mo. or so. It really sucks going from a healthy muscular body to a twig. It's a difficult adjustment.
Songdog. My other cycles were much more than that... well, dosage anyways. I only did 1 a-bomb cycle and blew up. I used D-bol after that. That anadrol is no joke. Of course I built up to those cycles.
