    severe hamstring injury

Hi guys, gals, quick question here. i got a severe hamstring injury during rugby 2 days ago. I'm on crutches and i'm doing my icing etc. I will take rehab very seriously and do what i'm told.
I know i'm going to be out for a long time which is very depressing so here is my question.
other than good diet, is there any tips/tricks that will help me maintain my muscle while i'm off? I know in a week or so i can hobble to the gym and do some upper body light stuff but not now
i'm one of those unlucky guys that takes forever to build muscle, but can lose it overnight.
rugby players all want big legs, i worked hard to get decent ones, i don't want them to shrivel up in the next 2 months.
    thanks!!!!

Keep eating a lot so ur legs don't atrophy to supply the rest of ur body with nutrients. Otherwise ur body will breakdown the muscle to supply the rest of ur body.

If i don't eat right/enough, legs r the first thing to go for me. Esp when I get sick with the flu.

Please follow the link in my signature to find out about TB500

it is a peptide used for healing purposes. I had a ham string problem, and when it snapped (partial tear) felt like a bungee chord breaking. Took six months to rehab. I've had similar injuries since, but rehabbing with TB went from six months to six weeks.
