Okay guys n gals, I've been training for about 3 years nearly and I'm quite happy with my routine and I don't feel overtrained whatsoever. But I'm looking to see if I can maximise my muscle gains. So here's my routine:
Day 1- Chest/tri's
4 Chest exercises/ 3-4 Tri's exercises
Day 2- Back/bi's
4 Back exercises/ 3-4 Bi's exercises
Day 3- Shoulders
4-5 Shoulder exercises (1 anterior/2 medial/2 posterior) 2-3 Traps
Day 4- Bi's/Tri's
3-4 Bi's exercises/ 3-4 Tri's exercises
Day 5- Legs/abs
2-3 Quads/ 2 Hamstrings/ 1 calves/ 2 abs
Day 6 Rest
Repeat
I wanted to switch to push/pull/legs so I'll post an example of what I'd do if that was my routine:
Day 1- Push
3 Chest/3 Delts/2-3 Tri's
Day 2- Pull
3 Back/2 Rear delts/1 Traps/ 2-3 Bi's
Day 3- Legs/Abs
3 quads/3 hammys/1 calves/ 1-2 abs
Day 4 Rest
Repeat
