reffed once every week a good idea ?

okay so im talking about a refeed here not a cheat day, is a refeed once a week a good idea when cutting ?
at the moment say im having 250g protein, 40g fats & 100-150g carbs. say every sunday i upped my carbs to about 400g and kept my fats and proteins the same this a good thing to do ? carb sources would only be from brocoli, brown rice, oats and sweet potato too. had a cheat day yesterday and today feel full of energy and had an amazing training session too.

Cycle your carbs. Acts like a Cheat or refeed day without breaking your caloric goals.

Also experiment what your body likes before you go to the gym. Some like carbs..some like protein...some like nothing....it is a person to person item and makes a lot of difference when you tune that in...all has to do with nitrogen balance from what I have researched.

i train better with carbs in me so my main carb meal of the day being 60-70g carbs which would be 100g oats or brown rice about 90 minutes before i train, after i still eat my carbs but from greens like brocoli from then on. strict cutting at the moment so consuming only about 100-150g carbs a day, i think sundays i may up it to about 400g but clean as id does seem to give me energy throughout the week from just one high carb day
