Thread: hCG Question

    hCG Question

    I am wanting to inject 250iu's of hCG twice weekly(M & TH).

    1. withdraw 3ml of bac water and put it in a sterile vial.
    2. withdraw 2ml of bac water and inject it into the vial of hCG powder.
    3. gently swirl the vial of hCG & bac water so it mixes
    4. draw the 2ml of mixed hCG into a syringe
    5. inject the 2ml of mixed hCG into the 3ml of bac water in the sterile vial.
    the result = 5000iu's of hCG in 5ml. or 1000iu's/ml.

    1)Is this the correct way to mix it up to inject 250iu's?
    2) So when I inject 250iu's, ill inject .25ml?
    3) How many weeks will this last at two 250iu injections per week?

    1. Yes, this is the idea, just make sure you're using alcohol pads for sterility and not doing this in the bathroom.

    2. Yes.

    3. Assuming you draw exactly 250ui each time it will last 10 weeks at 500iu a week. From my experience though, I would say to bet on 9 weeks as it is hard to be exact. Simple math.

    Why put the 2ml into the other 3ml of bac water? You could just use the vial of 5000iu hcg, with 2 ml bac water added. .10ml = 250iu

    He has pretty much made ti clear math isn't his strong point, no offense OP. I think he didn't want to over-complicate the dosing for himself.

    This ^^. Don't inject more than you need to.

    hi guys and gals (maybe)
    i bought my HCG from a pharmacy and it's 5000 iu there was an amp of 1ml of bacteriostatic water with it and when i asked for more she said you can't buy it separately( :| ). i have a friend who works in a pharmacy and haven't tried him yet but assuming there is no more bac water. can i do the shots with normal saline?
    not mixing them in the hcg vial, can i mix them in a syringe?
    .1ml of hcg is 500 iu and drawing a .1ml of normal saline makes it 250 iu per .1ml . inject .1ml and store the other one for day after tomorrow ???

    make any sense?? or am i crazy?

    I dont think I would try saline. I know you put it in your eyes but it's not quite the same. Try to get the Bacteriostatic water from your friend or online.

    The water that come with the HCG is not bacteriostatic water, its just sterile water, you cannot keep it for more than 1-2 days.

    Dont think you can buy bacteriostatic water in a pharmacy, at least not in my country. You have to order it online. Also order some empty vials, you will need it if the HCG powder is in a 1ml open vial.

    yep i just reread the bottle and it's sterile solvent, sodium chloride 0.9% (similar to saline). I can't order it online cuz i'm in iran and pretty sure when the order arrive i'm 50 yrs old.
    oh god what a mess, can make bacteriostatic water my self??

    Ingredients:

    1) Water - tap, or sterile (I use tap water and have had no problems with this but I recommend people research their tap water by reading the pdf your city/locale will put out on water quality before determining how safe it is to use). You also want to make sure you're not injecting lead - so if you are living in a building that has been around for a while, run the water for 2 minutes before collecting it. Even if you have a new building, the "lead free" pipes can still have a tiny amount of lead in it (yeah ****ed I know...) so I recommend running the faucet for a while nonetheless.

    2) Insulin Syringe (needed to measure out the benzyl alcohol)

    3) Vial of Benzyl Alcohol

    4) Alcohol Pads (You need these to wipe down the vial tops)

    5) Vial you're going to store your bacteriostatic water in. Self explanatory.

    ========================================

    Directions:

    1) Use an alcohol swab to wipe off the top of your benzyl alcohol vial. Measure out an appropriate amount of benzyl alcohol (see examples below if you are bad at math).

    2) After drawing out the benzyl alcohol, you can have this set aside.

    3) Measure out the sterile water (if you have sterile water tubes from a needle exchange like I do, you don't have to measure it out) or collect the tap water, and put it into your vial you'll have your bacteriostatic water in.

    4) Put in the benzyl alcohol.

    ========================================

    100 units = 1 mL
    1 unit = 0.01 mL
    1 mL = 1 cc

    ========================================

    Examples....

    To make 10 mL of bacteriostatic water, you need 9 units of benzyl alcohol (0.09 mL).

    To make 30 mL of bacteriostatic water, you need 27 units of benzyl alcohol (0.27 mL).

    To make 100 mL of bacteriostatic water, you need 90 units of benzyl alcohol (0.9 mL).

    This is from someone else so I cannot take the credit
