Estrogen control? Need a better AI.

If on a low dose (under 500mg) test cycle Arimidex did not do squat for estrogen control what would be the next logical AI and dosage regimen for the next cycle?

Cycle experience?
What were your AS and AI doses last cycle?
How do you know that dex didn't work, did you have BW? If you did then what were the results?
Have you used any other AIs besides dex?

I have been using arimidex and it always worked for me unless it is bunk.

Several cycles many years ago. Never had much of a gyno issue. 12 week 400 mg per week Sustenon cycle with a little dbol (very little) on the front resulted in gyno onset. Liquidex increased to .25 every day. Nothing. Just a little bit of Letro brought estrogen down quick. Gyno subsided. It was end of cycle anyway so cycle ended, pct started soon.

I think my adex was under dosed, at 1mg eod my estradiol was still 101 and my gyno issues were hard to get under control. I am using 1mg every day and a half and 40mg of nolva to try and reverse the damage done. Today is my last pin and last adex then just 20mg of nolva until I start the clomid in about 2.5 weeks. I will run AI and hcg from the beginning during my next cycle so I hopefully don't have to deal with this again.

I'm not sure how you knew your E2 was out of control. Did you have BW pre and mid cycle? Could you feel a physical mass, or did you have sensitive nipples?

Where did you get your adex?
How old was it?
How was it stored if you had it for a while?

I know there is bunk adex out there, I have heard it a few times and that's why I only order from ar-r now.

Mine is Life Science, I'm from north of the U.S. It wasn't very old to my knowledge and my guy is pretty solid and knows his source well. I think it was just under dosed, or my e2 was way out of control.

Liquidex was from AR-R. Probably had it for 8 or 9 months prior use. Stored in cool dark place (cabinet in the house). Nolva and Letro from AR-R performed acceptably. Nolva purchased at the same time as the Liquidex, and stored in the same place. In cycle very little Letro quickly stopped the sensitivity, halted further development, reduced puffiness and lump size. Post cycle Nolva reversed the small lump that was developing under one nipple, and puffiness.

I keep everything in the fridge from AR-R after I get it. Freezer for peptides until reconstituted.

I'm going to assume you didn't have BW done. Without actual numbers controlling your E2 accurately and precisely is a guessing game. All I can advise is have BW to make sure you've recovered and then take adequate time off before cycling again. Have a sensitive hormone panel two weeks before your next cycle. Use test only for your next cycle, take dex at 0.5mg/EOD, have a sensitive E2 lab done halfway through your cycle, then adjust your AI accordingly.

get your estradiols and your prolactin levels checked. All you're doing here is guessing

^^^^ what he said. Especially if it's been opened but even for long term storage such as several months I'm pretty sure it should be put in the refrigerator.

I'm guessing it has degraded over time and that was the problem.

arimidex should be good. if its not working then you either didnt start it on 1st day or 2nd day which you always should do. Never start using it just because you have side affects. Use it to prevent it, not treat it. Another thing is youre not telling us anything else, like how long you have been getting side affects and how long you have been using ai because it doesnt treat it overnight

Yes, this is the only way to know where the problem exists. Blood work is essential. Identify the problem and then develop and appropriate treatment plan.

AI started day 2 with .25 EOD which was bumped up to .25 ED 1/2 way through 12 week cycle when puffiness and sensitivity showed up. 3/4 way through small lump began to develop. Liquidex stopped, Letro used for a few days, Lquidex resumed, cycle finished, short wait followed by pct with torem and nolva.
