Hey guys. Ive been a part of this board for some time now and had interactions with some of you, although i mainly just read here.
I was diagnosed yesterday with severe cervical stenosis of the spinal cord between the c2 and c3 vertebrae. I go into surgery in less than 2 weeks. What makes things complicated is I have congenital fusion of the c3-c7 vertebrae. I'm really freaking out about the procedure that is going to a) remove pressure, and b) end up fusing another one of my precious vertebrae (c2) to the rest of the congenitally fused ones. Surgery aside, the Army has decided they no longer need me in their service and are medically separating me. Go figure. Pretty shitty day.
Also on day 3 of a 5 week PCT.
