    How can I protect joints, tendons/ ligaments on Cycle?

    Stats:
    Age:29
    Weight:175lbs
    Height:5"9
    BodyFat %: 18%
    Goals: Gain and KEEP lean muscle, lose 8% body fat over 20 weeks approx.
    Cycle: 20 weeks (in week 2 currently) of 500 Test E (every week) + Hcg (500iu per week) + Adex e3d 0.5mg
    PCT: PCT of Nolva/Clomid


    Started my first real cycle recently I am a week in and already I can feel my shoulder joints and elbow joints creaking and cracking lol

    Maybe I just need to stretch however it got me thinking... Google "testosterone and collagen synthesis joints"

    Basically I am wondering from your experience when taking a TEST ONLY cycle... how can I protect my joints. I know that drinking lots of water and limiting my Adex will allow me to have more water retention which in result should "fill" up my joints in a sense. However at 0.5 adex e3d I am not sure how much water I will retain as this is my first time taking it.

    Any ideas or experiences would be appreciated. I think this is an important topic for people to understand because preventing injury is very important on cycle.

    I've had problems in the past (before aas, I'm also currently on my first cycle) and fish oil with one baby aspirin a day worked ok, but my joints never really got bad. You might consider reading some on glucosamine/chondroitin

    I guess that's a start eh? I have Omega 3's and Omega 3-6-9... I should start taking those regularly. I will look into "glucosamine and chondroitin".

    i'm doing 500mg/week test e as well and during the first weeks i was taking 0.5mg arimidex EOD and my shoulders were cracking a lot and obviously hurting. i'm aware you're running 0.5mg E3D. all i'm saying is that it could be the adex. i lowered my dose to 0.25mg E3D and think it's the perfect dose for me

    Are you using a pill cutter or just breaking it and eye-balling it? Some people use a pill cuter then a razor. Just wondering because I may have to drop down to that dosage and want to be exact.

    i use a razor to cut the pill in half and then cut each half again with the razor

    Excellent. I'm going to start doing that. I wish they had the little "grooves" on them so we could just snap them in pieces.

    I had read some studies suggesting that Glucosamine induced insulin resistance and I discontinued using it.
    It also would upset my stomach which is rare because I have an iron stomach(nothing ever seems to upset my stomach)

    Use good form with all lifts, and don't always go for a one rep max unless you're specifically training for powerlifting. Lifting at higher rep ranges (with intensity) is safer than going for a new one rep max every week.

    Your muscles can grow stronger faster than your tendons and ligaments when you're on cycle. An injury could set you back years if not permanently.
