prostate issues while on TRT?

Wondering if anyone has had any prostate issues, such as prostatitis or enlarged prostitate while TRT.

I have been on Trt for almost 2 years. I had my prostate exam about 3 months ago, and my prostate was enlarged (doc said not too bad but enlarged none the less.) Maybe it was from trt or maybe because I am 42 years. Cialis has been doingna great job keeping everything under control.

Conclusions These preliminary data suggest that in aging men with late-onset hypogonadism, 6 months of TRT normalizes serum androgen levels but appears to have little effect on prostate tissue androgen levels and cellular functions. Establishment of prostate safety for large populations of older men undergoing longer duration of TRT requires further study.

JAMA, Pubmed, all good. Abraham Morgantaler from the original article I posted is considered one of the best in the business when it comes to TRT. His book, "Testosterone for Life" is a great read.

My urologist said that DHT causes the prostate to enlarge as well as hair, which of course causes all sorts of effects in the urinary system and causes sexual dysfunction. He said my TRT may cause my DHT levels to rise and enlarge the prostate.
