I've came across the squatting program for the Virgina Tech football team. It is amazing! It is called "Squat 'Till you Drop". You use a chart that I have (it's way too long to type it out on here but pm or e-mail me and I can send you a copy), but with that chart you find your max then go from there. For example if your max is 440 you do 10 reps at 215, 5 reps at 250, 3 reps at 275, 1 rep at 300. There is where the fun begins, after all those sets you take 320 and your "goal" is 10. I say goal because that is what you are shooting for, but you should bust your balls to exceed that. You want to go to failure, not you set "goal". For every 2 reps that you exceed your projected goal you move down the chart 1 spot for the following week. After my last set on this program I can hardly rack the weight! Once the weight is racked I collapse and my legs won't stop shaking. It is one of the best feelings.. I can't explain it. I would advise just tryin it out, it is only an 8 week program then you find your new max and start all over. E-mail me if you want this program.
