Hey guys, exactly 1 year ago today, i had a pilonidal abcess cut out, (big sucker near my arse crack). Was cut and drained and packed, all was fine up until a few months ago it returned but lucky all i needed was antibiotics and it went away, now i got a referal to a surgeon as my doctor told me, sooner or later whenever it may be the abscess will just keep returning unless i have it surgically removed(not just cut and drained again like i had) something about the whole skin area has to removed etc etc. Now im getting paranoid its going to return or start returning soon as the area is what i think a little tender, altho could all be in my head im not really sure. Im on holidays in 9 weeks time and the last thing i want is the abcess returing or giving me grief near that time.

Also i have an infected big toe, a long time ago i had surgery on both big toes for ingrown toenails, now my big toe on my left foot is somehow infected again, went to the doctor and got some antibiotics and they did nothing.

My questions are, instead of having 2 different dates and surgeries, what are the chances of these 2 incidents getting operated on together? Same day etc.?
