When I was at 20% body fat, people were telling me that 'I look fine'

And now that I'm nearing 15%, people are telling me that I'm 'super dedicated' and that I'm a 'fitness junkie'.

What the ****? Am I the only one who has noticed how shitty the average person's way of thinking is? 'Averagely good-looking' girls are either slightly overweight a.k.a chubby or super skinny and 'averagely good-looking' men have a beer belly and pogo stick arms and legs. It looks ugly as shit.

I've heard that you become cynical when you start growing old, but I just turned 20 and I'm complexed by how shitty our society is. I get anxious when I feel like I've eaten a little too much during a day of cutting, and yet I see overweight adults happily going about their day not giving a flying **** what they're ingesting or how much of it, and buying unhealthy food products for themselves and their children. I might be a dick, but in the past years I've grown increasingly sick of those who do not exercise and who do not care at all about what their eat. Those people seriously gross me out. How can you be happy being overweight, or ingesting a lot of worthless crappy food into your body? Regardless of what your life situation is, there's no excuse to not care of your body and remain healthy. None.

Anyway, this was my complaining for the day.

Everybody is different. Sub cultures make life interesting. Imagine a world were everyone was a big as markus ruhl. It would not be exciting. Anyone who lets other peoples actions effect them is weak minded.

You're just noticing this? Have you been under a rock these last 20 years? But you're right the laziness of the typical western person has gone up a few notches over the last decade or so (not that people took care of themselves 10 years ago). But I think it's come down to the fact that we've stopped looking down at these ham-hogs with contempt and disgust.

We need to save America by picking on the fatties. Bully them in to putting down the cheeseburgers.

    This is so factual information

People are srsly getting lazier in the US. The laziness is driven by every aspect of life. From over working to having to pass 15 greasy spots on the way home.

I pass by the In & Out burger every day. The line is always 20+ cars deep. Wtf - I hate that garbage. Straight dog shit of food

It's just the way it is - but, there is one upside. The "fit" are looked upon as elite. Yeah man, I'll b in your shape some day. Or back when I was in your shape. Stfu & stop eating grease burgers & you'll b just fine - but, no - never, we're all too lazy to cook for ourselves too.

Oh well - makes me look better. Srsly I never really thought being in real good solid shape would get me anywhere. Seems to be so far though - among the fatties, I'm super man

Even if they ate out at those grease joints all the time, a good 20-40 mins of mild/moderate exercise a day would do them wonders. Plus, believe it or not, there are healthier choices at those fast food places nowadays. You know when they started suing McDonalds for making them fat, they threw them in. Problem is nobody who goes there wants to eat the healthier options.

And I've said it before, these fat-fvcks aren't just lazy about taking care of themselves. This sort of behaviour is a recurring theme in their life.

But don't get so full of yourself. Just because the people around you look like fat slobs, it doesn't mean you're Superman. Hold yourself to a higher standard than those wastes of life.

Western world just has a bit of a head start. As we started the fast food revolution. Rest of the world will catch up. They won't learn from our mistakes they can't wait until there is McDonalds on every corner. By then hopefully we willbe setting a better example. Trending a healthier lifestyle. I hope anyways. The new generation is in real danger from the food choices they consume.

It does feel pretty good even when you dont think you are in the best shape you could be and you are at a beach, water park or ??? and you look around and realize you are in the top 1%

^^^This. If it were easy, everyone would be walking around like a bodybuilder or beach body type (depending on what look you're going for). It sets me apart from the 99%. I refuse to be mediocre, let alone, far less than mediocre.

I feel you brother. When I was a freshman in highschool I was 207 pounds. By my sophomore year I was down to 167, an actually healthy weight. My parents were actually getting upset at me because I was being "too drastic" and I was getting "unhealthily skinny". I literally only cut down to like 14% haha

Agree with you Samson. But in the context of your sentence above, abbreviating "seriously" is rather funny.

    Lmao - Good one

But, yeah straight up - Since a water park was brought up. We went this summer once. The whole time I seen one guy close to my size/condition. Straight up, one guy out of a thousand or more.

Yet in Vegas the weekend after the IFBB qualifier, I was the small guy at the Palms pool.

Seeing some of these guys in person was a trip, made me look like I make the average guy look.

But, this was a gathering of pros & semi pros - Nothing like the every day whatever we see.

The big joocy guy or the super fit woman population is so so small. I mean on a average scale, I'd say what .5% of the population - if that

Sooooo - Fatties, keep on keeping on. You give me work & make me look better - Good looking out!

Another one of these threads jay?

Who cares what other people think and what they consider to look good, great, etc..?

If we all had the same belief on the subject or any subject for that matter the world would be a boring place.

I would say most of us have body image issues but I think you need some professional help.

The less you care about other peoples opinions and the less you compare yourself to other people the happier you will be.

I compare myself with others constantly because I want to be better than everyone else, and not just better than I was yesterday. A lifetime spent as an average person is not living imo. Aim for the top, and then get there slowly but surely...!!

lol you guys are asses, but funny asses. I do look enjoy the looks I get in public, especially by the ones that are obese.

Normally I would say natural selection will take care of them but I find a large facet of natural selection, in my opinion, is being hindered by our idiot-proof society. Wear your seat belts.

Amen. I dont agree 100% with the seatbelt statement though. A child should be acquired to wear a seatbelt even on a school bus imo but adult should be able to make the choice even with a helmet but with stipulations if you are injured.

Let not forget the dreaded 64 oz soda either. Everyone knows you are not smart enough to make your own health decisions.
