    Bummer - torn rotator cuff

I got the news today from the MRI and ortho. I have a torn rotator cuff, left shoulder. I didn't post this in Injuries and Rehab because I'm just whining. I had the right one done seven years ago, and I'm simply not looking forward to the recovery time. Argh!!!

Damn, bummer for sure. What caused it, bad form?

Old age, just kidding. Bad form 7 years ago. I learned my lesson on form back then, which was well overdue. It made me go back and learn to do all of my exercises properly, particularly squats. I guess too many miles on this 53 year old. LOL!

I don't envy u. I had rom chair b4 rehab which helped. I purchased an over the door pulley which was 10$ well spent.

Been there for sure. Get the surgery, rest, do the physical therapy (thoroughly) & be done with it. No other choice IMO. You'll be in the gym a year from now regardless of the R/C. Question is do you still want to be in pain with limited gains a year from now? That's my take, good luck...

You might want to look in to running a cycle of TB-500 while you're trying to heal. The guys on here have made a believer out of me on this stuff. It might make your recovery time sooner.

Thanks. TimesRoman suggested the same to me. I'm going to give the TB-500 a try.
