You actually do burn more calories per mile or what have you, when you're full. I don't have PROOF as all of the articles etc. from bodybuilding websites that i've read aren't "credible" to your standards, but there's PLENTY of them. And no, i don't have any studies, but neither do you to prove it otherwise. So selective stalemate.
All i know, is that when i've incorporated it into my workout regimen, it helped me. Other people including myself have noticed that my abs look alot better than they did before because i had gotten rid of a little stubborn lower belly fat that seemed to never have gone away no matter how low my BF% was. No way to insure this, as i've also fixed up my diet and am eating in a slight caloric deficit. But also, just know that Jay Cutler did about 1,000 calories worth of fasted cardio with heat packs around his waist in the morning when he woke up before breakfast to prepare for the 2013 olympia.
"Bro science" or not, i'm a testimonial and i'd say it works pretty well. Half of the people that talk about how it doesn't work and is bro science has never tried it INCLUDING YOURSELF. So before you call BS on something, at least have some experience to back up your claims.
