    how to do a cutting cycle?

    So i want to do a cutting cycle with test prop and anavar. i am somewhat lean, in the 12, 11% BF range, my weight is 200 pounds. My goal is to gain some size, more muscle but lower my BF, not by much but maybe a solid 10%. now how can i gain size and lower a little bit of BF%? because to lose weight you must eat less than the TDEE and to gain must eat more. i am just having trouble figuring this out. i can't imagine eating less than my TDEE which is 3100 on a cycle, because my appetite will increase quite a bit on cycle. i would appreciate any impute on the nutrition side of this cycle. thanks

    How long you been working out for? Whats your age and what if any cycles have you done in the past? A great place to start would be the diet section. I think you can answer or figure out most of your questions by reading in the diet section of this forum.
    If your really 12% BF, it would be a cake walk, with a good diet to hit your goal of 10%. I dont even think you need steroids to tell you the truth. But if you still want to to take them, set up a good diet for yourself, and with Prop/Anavar, your goals should be met pretty quick.

    Thanks for the input. i been training for 12 years, i know i can get to 10% BF but i will lose size and strength. plus i want more muscle. i have read the nutrition posts but i can't seen to find the answer. i know how to diet, just not on a cycle. and with my goals of gaining some muscle and losing a little BF not sure how to eat.. above or below my TDEE..

    Well, that is one of the biggest reasons i still use steroids. To cut down really low, right before summer, and loose no muscle and even gain some in the process. Like you said, this would be close to impossible for me in the time i am able to accomplish this without the help steroids give me...

    I dont know how much muscle you are looking to gain but this could be a problem since while cutting to these low number you are after, muscle will be gained at a slower pace. You will still be gaining muscle, while loosing BF%, but at a much slower rate than while doing a bulking diet. This is the reason i usually only cut, when i think i have accomplished the sufficient muscle to now cut the fat, and let it show.

    Reasons why i asked how long you been working out is to figure out if you even had a base to cut nicely into. 12 years is a nice amount of time and im guessing you have a nice base. With the cycle you mentioned i would design a nice cutter or even a lean bulking diet, and you should meet these goals you are after with no problems at all.
