Question on test shot from DR

So I did blood work and he sId my level was low. He started me on 200ml once a week for three week then checked my level.. Did blood work again then moved me to once a week ever 2-3 weeks. Well after my last shot of this round round he wanted to do blood work 5 days after my last shot because that when my level is the highest.. Well I understand my level will be high so after my last shot but shouldn't he be worried about what it's like in 3 week if he's giving me a shot ever 3 weeks? And also test 200 once a week doesn't seem to much

I'm gonna be honest man, I'm having a really hard time trying to understand what you're trying to say/ask here. Not really clear on the details of your protocol.

1st off, get a new doc. 200mg once a week is too much in 99.9% of the cases. I personally take a "high" dose of 140mg split into 2 doses. You're in for a nasty roller coaster ride if you're shooting once 2-3 weeks at a time. The "preferred" method for most of us on here and I agree with it 100% is shooting every 3.5 days.

50-70 mg twice a week seems to be the norm around here.

Your doc does not understand the half-life of testosterone and is attempting to dose you on what he feels is the terminal life. In other words, he does not understand the most basic concept of hormones, whatsoever. And your test level will be highest within 24-48 hrs, metabolism dependent.

Simply find another doc or you're in for a rough ride. Take some time and read all the sticky threads at the top of this forum. Self-education is key.

Your Doc is uninformed, yes, but to who said 200 per week is too much 99.9% of the time, BS, many of us do that. Blood work tells the story and it just cracks me up every time I see an "expert" tell someone 200 is too much. All do respect^^^. Would agree twice per week is best for most stable levels but me personally, cannot feel one bit different pinning once or twice per week. My E2 is controlled with .5 mg the day after only. I prefer once per week.

TRT is a life time commitment. If you want your low testosterone levels stop the shots. As some have said educate yourself.

I agree, get another Dr. 200 mg is definitely not unheard of but most of us do well at the lower end. In the end it's all about your BW with a more stable protocol. You BW is best taken the day of your next shot or as close as possible before your shot. Good luck.

To answer that question in bold above: The majority of men on this forum and the majority of men on TRT, do just fine on the lower end of the treatment spectrum which comes in at around 80mg - 140mg per week. So when you say "BS" and "all due respect", there's absolutely no respect in your comment at all. Quite the contrary. Everyone's opinion is valuable - including yours. And you're free to express it anytime. But that's all it is. It's no better or no more valid than anyone else's. And it certainly doesn't give you the right to call someone's suggestion bullshit.

Further, I've been here for awhile and I never heard anyone claim to be an "expert" on TRT. But I have seen several here offer very valuable advice based on years of personal experience and research. These individuals have been extremely generous with their knowledge and very supportive of the men who come here for advice and guidance. It's no wonder they are considered experts by many of us because they've earned the title. They care and it shows. Perhaps someday, you will be able to say the same for yourself.

Bullshark, you do add value to many discussions on this board. 2sox was just making a point that I happen to agree with is that 200 mg is on the high side of hrt. I know you some others who contribute here are up in that range. However most of us do respond at the lower end, and certainly should be the starting point and work up from there. I've read a couple of good books, ( testosterone a mans guide and the testosterone syndrome ) which I recommend that say the same thing. I would love to be at 200 mg for many reasons however the sides would make it rough. In the end I don't think most of us are "experts" , (at least most of us with some exceptions who are) we are a collective group of guys with the same conditions sharing information to help the other guy out. I think one thing we've learned is trt is definitely not cookie cutter.

No need to apologize because it's clear your comments weren't directed at me. If you owe someone else an apology, go right ahead. But I think you ought to re-read my post. I believe you're reading too much into it. Just to be clear; I argued that several individuals here are considered experts because through their good will for others, and their vast knowledge and experience, they've demonstrated time and time again that they care and being helpful to others matters to them. my highest peak T on twice weekly injections was 1259 and this was only 100 mg/week

now people who have high SHBG, and a lot of aromatase activity might only achieve peak levels of say 600 on 100/week,

in saying that the vast majority of people will be able to get in the upper range (peak level) with 100-150/week

I take .5 mg the day after my test shot. I also upped my HCG to 500 iu's the day before my test. I haven't tried Aromasin because I have the Anastrozole pretty figured out. I also gained some weight back which also affects my E2. Having BW done soon as I prep for elbow surgery coming up. We'll see what turns up.
BTW I should clear up that I pin twice a week at 50 mg each.
