    Bulking diet

    THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO EAT ON A BULKING DIET IS THIS CORRECT BECAUSE I PERSONALLY DONT THINK IT IS ENOUGH ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED THIS IS JUST AN IDEA OF WHAT MEALS ARE FOR ONE DAY THEY ARE ALL ROUGHLY THE SAME meals Stuart
    Meal 1 -05.15am = porridge with jam or honey
    Meal 2-07.00am=protein shake
    Meal 3-10.15= 2 oatcakes light cheese spread and pack of snack a jacks
    Meal 4-12.15pm=2 chicken breasts with 2 potatoes baby potatoes and any veg (season)
    Meal 5-18.00=spag Bol use lean beef mince
    Meal6-22.00pm=protein shake
    Snacks = fruit , low fat yoghurt .snack a jacks ,oatcakes ( nairns cheese ones okay) ,nuts non flavoured ie wall nuts almonds Try have at least 250 ml of water with every meal NO SALT AT ALL !!! NO SUGAR OR ENERGY DRINKS IF YOU HAVE SUGAR IN TEA OR COFFEE SWAP FOR CANDAREL NO BISCUITS SNACK WHENEVER YOU WANT MATE I.E 1PACK OF SNACK A JACKS OR PIECE OF FRUIT ENJOY t

    Why are you yelling at us? It looks fine I guess, don't worry about the salt have as much as you want just keep it under 4g. You need to count your macros and find your TDEE to set up a proper bulking diet, you'll never know if this is enough with that especially since you don't have the amount of each.

    Sorry in just copy and pasted what the guy sent me and that could be ok then? I didn't think that would be enough

    That completely depends on how much of each you're having.

    I personally feel that salt is OK in higher amounts for people who exercise hard and eat a clean diet. The average couch potato doesn't need any extra salt, but when you sweat a lot and don't eat a ton of processed foods, you don't get a ton naturally so some added salt would benefit you. No real scientific background for these claims, just my limited knowledge of nutrition and how the body works.

    Idk, it was just a general guideline I threw out there from the article I mentioned. It stated that the ideal sodium intake was between 2-4g daily.
