    hcg shot

hey i have a question regarding the hcg shot. I took my first shot today and with my bottle each .1 ml is 200iu hcg. i am planning on taking 250 twice a week. So i measure out exactly 250 iu and injected. after i pushed syringe all the weay through I took it out and retracted to plunger to check if there was any left in. There was half of a a little less then 100 iu of liquid in there. Is this normal? it definitely was in all the way. There Nipro syringes. should i mix more on my next shot to account for what is lost? or is that liquid some other substance from injection?

I think your math is off. If you have .1ml=200iu then you have 1ml vial of 2000iu. Normally this stuff comes in 5000iu or something. Anyway measuring up 250iu on an insulin syringe doesnt make sense because insulin syringes only go up to 100iu/1mL. And so 250iu is 2500iu if that makes sense. IU is NOT a specific unit of measurement. For insulin 100iu=1mL. So the graduations of the syringe are 1/100mL. If you went by the syringe and drew it full 2.5x (250iu assuming 100 syringe) you shot 2500iu, which is more than you have [2000iu], which is impossible?

What liquid are you talking about? The lipo powder should dissolve in the bacteriostatic water with mild aggitation. That's the only liquid in there. Did you aspirate some blood out of your body? Not sure what you mean.

Yes, it's normal for there to be some left in the syringe. Same with test. The only way possible to get it all out is if you have an air bubble in the syringe by the plunger.

a drop left is normal for gear or hcg or anything....... account for it by an extra 0.1cc IMO

If you use a fixed needle insulin pin you shouldn't have anything left over.
