    Eating at an airport

Going on holiday tomorrow and have a flight in the afternoon. I am cutting at the moment and since it's my day off from the gym my caloric needs won't be as high (aka keeping carbs lower than 100g), therefore I have a caloric restriction of 1,800 instead of the normal 2,000-2,100 range.

Not sure the nutritional info on food provided at an airport since I haven't flown out in years but I'm planning on getting 944 calories worth of food before the flight (oatmeal, egg whites, chicken breast) with 13g Fats/47g Carbs/149g Protein which should give me some leeway for this 8 hour flight + 3 hours leaving preflight from home.
What would the best recommendation be to get at the airport/eat in the airplane? I can't bring food with me because I was told it gets taken away.

You can bring protein shakes unmixed in shaker cups in your carry on then get water on the plane, I have done this many times. see what the meals are and only eat the meat and veggie portion.
