Started my new year off by squatting; felt great! Although I'm not looking forward to the next month or so when the gym is crowded with 'resolutioners'. Oh well, they'll only be around for 4-6 weeks, then it's back to business as usual.
I have had to change my attitude towards January and the gym. At least these ppl have reached a point of consciousness re their health....and I wish them well. It's not easy to adopt a healthier lifestyle.Originally Posted by musclestack
I agree. I also think they help keep my membership price low lol so god bless!Originally Posted by musclestack
I will agree when it comes to the 2% who actually stick it out past February. The others may be slightly 'conscious' but aren't willing to put in the effort; once they find out that it's strenuous, they give up. And no, it's not easy to adapt this lifestyle, which is also what separates us from the masses.Originally Posted by GirlyGymRat
Having said that, I'm always willing to help anybody out if they ask, whether it be a spot, or even advice on how to train or diet, regardless of whether or not it's their first day in the gym, or they've been there for years. I never look down on anyone who's trying their best to improve themselves. Cheers, GGR!
Just got back from a trip to California and with the 13.5h time difference my jetlag was insane so I, literally, rang in the new year at Snap Fitness here in Bangalore, India :-) while my wife and daughter was asleep.
