testing hcg with both ovulation test and pregnancy test. two different results

okay so I got some ov - I- dac hcg 5000iu, tested it with a LH Test and a hcg test, with the LH test it came positive but then the hcg test it came negative, you can lightly see the another line with the hcg test.. does this mean I have something really weak or maybe the hcg test was bad? (got the test kits at the $1 store =) )

Sometimes, most of the time you get what you pay for. I would at least try it a couple more times or buy a more expensive/reliable brand.
