Why would you want a cow that was fed MJ?
Hahaha, we have 15 head of cattle... No shortage of beef around here
seems pricey to me, but i may be missing something? for my 96% fat free ground beef i pay $6.49 per pound and thats buying one pound packs. its grass fed.
For the venison I harvested this year, cost me around $4-5 per pound. All natural!Originally Posted by --->>405<<---
They will process and pack how ever the customer likes . We usually swap out the main cuts that we don't like and have in ground..
It is a bit more but the meat is better grade than general cut out of the grocer taste and quality is better .
Can't go wrong with wild game!
Ended up with 160 lbs of venison and 250 lbs of elk this year.

That's fantastic. I don't know why I never think of buying in quantity like that. I have a chest freezer, so I should do it. There's a local guy who has a great farm, and he's taken me around, introduced me to the cows (I think everything is pastured in the UK), withstood my quizzing about vaccines and medicines - I should email me him and get a price for a half. How much space does a half take up?
I told him he should do raw milk (his cows are red poll, which are mixed-use) and he told me that he was looking for someone to partner with to milk the cows and do raw yoghurt, milk and butter for the farm store. I mentioned it to my husband and he immediately knew I was imagining myself in a gingham dress and long braids, milking cows. He had to talk me out of it.
