Need help with Quad Injection Site

I recently tried my first quad inject and i grazed/went into a vein and had a little disposal of blood in the syringe, nonetheless i still completed the injection with little to no blood after cleaning the site. I would like to know some tips and to know if the picture i have provided is the correct site to pin in the quad. Thanks for the responses and help, its much appreciated!

Did you aspirate? Did you cough? That's what happens when I graze a vein. I shoot in that area all of the time.

That wasn't the spot i pinned, i went straight down instead of from the side at first like a retard because i was winging it at first and thought i knew what i was doing considering i can see my quad heads. And yes i did aspirate but couldn't see the blood at first because of the angle and i still injected and it went in smoothly. The current spot in the picture is where I'm wanting to pin and im just seeing if its gtg.

Go a little higher to the hip
Sit on the bed so your calfs are just hanging
Over and go in at a 90 degree angle
So basically you wanna go about
6 inches from hip bone
You still must aspirate

Thanks, i appreciate it. It just seems odd going in from the side to me but I'll give it a shot ( no pun intended haha ).

That would have been ok if you were in the middle part of your quad and not the side. Legs are hit or miss with ....either the pin falls in or I pick another spot. I always use 25 GA 1".

i was in the middle when i did but it was the lower smaller head closer to the knee and it was painless still nonetheless. And thats the same im using, i feel literally nothing when i pin with 25's.
