    Delt Pin - No 2nd Pinch?

    Every other cycle I've rotated glute and quads. This time, I started my first two pins in the delt. The issue I have is that I don't feel a 2nd pinch. I assume I would once I hit muscle. I went to a shorter needle this time. 5/8 for delts. This is bad and I'm just shooting into my fat, right? I'm not that fat though. I want to think back to my flu shots and I don't remember a 2nd pinch with those either but they probably stuck it in much faster than I'm doing mine.


    The needle slides in so easily in my delts. I should have done this spot the first cycle. Quads were really bad but I did those the most.

    I have the exact same problem man. I can clearly feel when i am entering muscle in my glutes and quads. I do delts occasionally and also feel like im not getting into the muscle. This is when i am using a 1" pin. So my first suggestion definitely use a 1" pin. your not going to really hurt yourself shooting into the fat, It may be slightly more sore the next day, but the bigger concern is that the oil takes much longer to break down when it is in adipose tissue rather than muscle tissue. You should eliminate your problem by just using a 1" pin and bury the thing in your delt. Good luck!

    What's your bf% mate?? As this could be the issue... It all depends how lean you are... If at 10% one would be able to pin w/a 5/8" pin... Do I suggest it No... I always use 1" minimum so it gets deep in that muscle... 1 1/2" for glutes until I can use 1"...

    As I mentioned earlier you gotta be pretty damn lean using a 5/8" pin and if it's not getting to the muscle that means it's going in SubQ and you can only push say .6ml maximum or you may end up in lotta pain and possible infection...

    So you definitely feel a 2nd pinch when you go through your delts, right?
