So I have it on word from a doctor, I have an email he sent my friend claiming you'll get "much better" results using delt injections. He's talking about test cyp but he prob means enthate to, what do you bro's and hoe's think?![]()

Load of nonsense
I prefer the delts, personally. Not because of greater effectiveness but rather it is an easier angle for me to hit. That and I've never had any kind of pip there. There are a lot of people on both sides of the fence when it comes to spot injections. I think as long as it gets in your system properly, it'll work the same. But I'm no doctor.
Better "results", in what context?
Results can mean many things...
Is the Dr just meaning a simpler location, for a tiny TRT injection?
I actually find quads the best place for me. Seems to hold a lot more
it is actually the other way, there was a study about the site injection and the bigger muscles that were injected more goodies will be in the blood
I din't know it is in the context of a trt injection of 200mg but he just says "much better results" without really going into detail. This is copied from a section of the email titled medication cheat sheet....
Testosterone/D3 - Pull up .5 of the D3 in the drawing needle (20 G 1" big needle) and then pull up 1 cc of testosterone in the same needle. You'll have a total of 1.5 ccs in the needle. Switch over the tip to the 25 G 5/8" tip and do your shot. Go for the delt (shoulder). You will get far better results in the shoulder than if you do the glutes.
It really doesn't matter. Try to find a few muscle groups that you can easily pin. For me its glutes, quads, Delts, and triceps. If you run fast Esther's then you will want to include a few more if possible. Some guys like chest, biceps and lats. Pray for no pip and always look to improve your injection technique...that's it.
yes,yet that is bigger than deltoids(you inject in the middle one so 1/3 of the whole muscle)When you inject the glute though arent you really injecting the gluteus medius though?

it actually does and depends on concentration too
-one group used npp (25mg/ml)100mg/4ml in glutes
-one group used deca (25mg/ml)100mg/4ml in glutes
-one deca 100mg/1ml glutes
-one deca 100mg/1ml delts

but that just in the paper and maybe it really doesn't matter i use whichever is easier.

I do delt injections often just because they are easier. Delts and quads are my go to sites but the word is the bigger the muscle you pin the better the absorption. That's why most places pin glutes
I use several sites in glutes and in quads. Can't reach my delts. No plans to use chest or tris ever.
I have never understood why people pin in those sites (chest tri's bi's etc)when you have so much room to move your injections around with delts quads and glutes.Originally Posted by 600@50
right but why bother when you have so many other big muscle groups to use?Originally Posted by Buster Brown

Well, in this narrow context, if the Dr has recommended, or supplied, 5/8" needles, for injection, then glutes are pretty much ruled out. Then, considering that any medical injection that I've had, has always been in the shoulder, I can understand the Dr's instructions. I just wouldn't read too much into his statement, beyond the narrow context of that particular scenario...
I know I always use the analogy that people usually inject in the glute but you don't see guys walking around with gigantic a ss muscles. But I have heard there are a lot of receptors in the shoulders but who knows, the guy must be saying it for some reason, Im sure he believes it and hes qualified. He wouldn't just say it to hear himself talk

I'm referring to it being more effective(now its easy and harder to make a mistake on delts IMO) but just b/c s Dr. Says(doesn't mean he's up to date and really knowing - maybe he is - just never heard of that) I don't think he's referring to it being more effective than absorption from bigger muscle groups per say, but maybe just maybe it's harder to make a mistake or have worse technique than the glutes/& quads!
This is the only thing I could have thought he meant, IMO!
Yes, I am retarded
But, apparently not as much as your MD
I swear still, the shit you hear - you can't make up
Do you know what they call a medical student that finishes dead last in his class? Doctor...
It's just like any other profession, there are idiots and quacks. Just because a guy has a broken down automotive shop with a bunch of broken down cars outside would you take your Porsche there for service?

Ya sure, you're smarter then a doctor who deals with hormones for a living now? How much has ANYONE ever paid you for your advice? I know its hard to believe but maybe, just maybe he knows things you don't. You can't even comprehend information you read in a thread when its right in front of you?
No one is trying to insult you so don't take it that way. We know you are just trying to share some information and be a productive member but here's the thing with your findings: we .....the so called "abusers" have real world experience and do monitor our progress will all tell you that we haven't grown "more" from a certain type injection protocol. This topic has been discussed here before so without insulting you, your really not bringing anything new to the table. I agree some comments may come across as harsh including my own from time to time and its only because our combined experience does not support what you have presented. The guys here are good guys so try to not get a bad taste in your mouth and let it ruin your research and so forth.
