Help - NO WOOD!

Guys,

I'm 4 weeks into TRT (detailed plan below) and all was going well until late last week when I noticed I had a hard time getting going.. Then this morning my wife and I started fooling around and NO WOOD! I have never had this issue but I just couldn't answer the bell. I will call my dr tomorrow but I am assuming the Anastrozole could be the culprit? I didn't take it today (I do my Test inj on Sat) and won't again tomorrow.

Any other thoughts?

I think you would be better to try to split that to .25 mg 2xew

IIRC, a few days ago you started a thread asking members what they thought of your protocol. I probably suggested reducing Testosterone to 60mg or 70mg weekly, not taking Anastrozole unless you have high E2, and change hCG to 250IU two days before and one day before Testosterone injection.

IMO you are on too high a starting dose. Much smarter to start low and titrate up slowly.

It's "hard" to say exactly what's off

Only after running juice for quite a while and shifting doses, I know exactly where I function best.


In my case, I run a high cruise dose of about 300mg of test per week. So, I run HCG 2x a week at 250iu along with xTane as my Ai @ 12.5mg EOD. All of my numbers have been dialed from this for about a year - But, it took a bit to get it sorted out.

Dr. Phil might ask, "How's that working out for you. After all, following your doctor's advice got you to where you are today."

The sad fact is that most doctors are not up to date with the latest TRT treatments.

I like this forum. I received some good advice when I was starting out and am doing my best to pay it back. There are some smart guys on the forum who have the luxury of time to do a lot of research (most doctors don't), there are a few guys that think prizes are handed out for the biggest dose and highest levels, and like any village there is an idiot or two as well. It's up to you to determine who is offering safe and sane advice.

So now you are at a crossroads; do you blindly follow the advice of this doctor, or do you educate yourself and participate in the direction of your treatment. I hope for your sake you choose the latter.

if your seriously trusted your dr- you wouldnt be onthis forum to begin with- you may not always agree with a response- but when people take time out to help out someone they do not know- the polite thing is to accept and thank them.

I may be naive, but I don't believe Dawg was insulting me at all. I went through the same thing when I started, and I feel his pain.

Like him, I was lost and at a crossroads. I could have just given myself to the doctor, but instead decided to try learning as much as I could.

I still see the same doctor, and will say I listen to his advice. But I try to do my research before changing what I put in my body. After all, at the end of the day, it is my thumb pushing down on the plunger, and I am ultimately responsible for what goes into the syring.

Self medicating is the best way to go when it comes to TRT IMO - Unless < < You're name is Dwayne "The Rock" Johson and you have a MD on staff that you par a 1/4 mill to a year

Certainly knowing enough to self-medicate is good; however, even though one can walk in and buy gear at many pharmacies in Thailand, they are still considered controlled substances, and possession without a script carries stiff penalties.

We see it all the time on this forum; whether we have to explain the half-life of Cypionate or open a doctor's eyes to the benefits of hCG,, sometimes we have to educate our doctors.

I think educating oneself and participating in the direction of one's treatment is absolutely crucial.
