At 18 years old I did random testosterone bloodwork, it turned out to be very low, came to endocrinologist, we did more bloodwork: test still low, estrogen normal, high prolactin. I got prescribed bromocriptine, and i'm taking it for a few months now, 6 x 2.5mg tabs a day. I feel better - less depression, don't feel lethargic when doing nothing after i slept 12 hours, more sex drive, occasional morning woods, but i still have baby face, no facial/body hair (well, few white hairs popped up), relatively low strength at gym. My tissue under left nipple is almost gone, but i still get puffyness (estrogens are normal, so i probably need some SERM's).
I'm really considering TRT now. My doc says my test is "normal" (barely within the range), so i would have to find new doc, or self medicate. What options i have without TRT?
Is it safe if i take it in TRT doses, not in "steroid cycle" doses?
Edit:
My stats:
6 feet tall
about 190 lbs, relatively lean
242 lbs bench
165 lbs military press
352 lbs squat
440 lbs deadlift
I'm not saying i'm weak, but most of newbies that come to my gym get similar stats very quickly, meanwhile i worked for about 4 years
