Hey peeps.. I am going to be changing from my 4 day a week work out schedule to a 3x a week Total Body workout to loose 10lbs... was wondering if anyone had any comments? i know i will probley loose alot of muscle mass but trust me, it will be wroth it once i get my abs chizzled out. i will dedicate 1 - 2 years to adding 30lbs of solid muscle mass. *cough* anyways.. here is my work out:
Day 1:
Chest:
Pec Deck Fly ... 1set 10-12reps
Dumbbell Fly ... 1set 10-12reps
Barbell Bench Press ... 1 x 10-12
Delts:
Barbell uprite Row ... 1 x 10-12
Barbell Military Press ... 1 x 10-12
Side Lateral ... 1 x 10-12
Back:
Barbell Bent-over Row ... 1 x 10-12
Reverse Grip Pulldowns ... 1 x 10 - 12
Pull Ups ... 1 x 10 - 12
Biceps:
Barbell Preacher Curls ... 1 x 15-20
Standing Barbell Curls ... 2 x 10-12
Dumbbell Concentration Curl ... 1 x 10-12
Triceps:
Cable Pushdown ... 1 x 10-12
Barbell Extensions ... 2 x 10-12
Quads:
Leg Extension ... 1 x 20-25
Dumbbell Full Squat ... 1 x 10-12
Hams:
Laying Leg Curls ... 1 x 20-25
Traps:
Barbell Shrugs ... 2 x 10-12
Day 2 = Cardio - 2miles
Day 3 = Repeat Day 1
Day 4 = Cardio
Day 5 = Repeat Day 3
Day 6 = Cardio
Day 7 = OFF
now, i will be increasing the weight as the days go along. and i will only be doing 2miles of cardio until i can get my heart rate up to about 60% and then i will start doing about 30 - 40mins of cardio. my diet is very strict.. i keep my carbs under 15g per day and my Protein intake really high. Calories around 2k possibly.
any comments on this work out? i mean, is this okay or what? it takes the Bow Flex people 3mths using this work out to drop 30lbs. wonder how long it will take me to drop 10lbs? heh... i included a pic of my little 4 pak.
