I'm in week 7 and am having strange cramps like "Charlie horse" pain in strange places and also feel like I need to stretch out a lot more... Muscles feel sore at times even when not working out. Any one else experience this?

Yes sometimes. Drink more water.
Take magnesium. Zma is a good option.
I take more potassium especially in summer with additional stress of dehydration.
